在基督教禮拜儀式中，歌頌上主是相當重要的流程，歌頌敬拜能使會眾預備心神，聆聽講道。敬拜風格則隨著時代有不同樣貌，例如傳統聖詩及現代敬拜詩歌。作者曾於臺灣的雙語教會進行禮拜，雙語教會通常使用現代英文敬拜詩歌頌讚上主。禮拜過程中，發現若干敬拜詩歌的中文歌詞為業餘譯者自願翻譯，其中部分譯句不易歌唱。針對此一現象，本研究決定探討現代敬拜詩歌的翻譯品質與修訂改善。
本研究挑選二十首已有中文翻譯的現代敬拜詩歌，先以羅爾的歌曲翻譯理論評估分析翻譯品質，再以萊斯的文本類型理論與奈達動態對等理論修訂改善原歌曲翻譯。評估結果顯示，在所選的二十首現代敬拜詩歌翻譯當中，多數中文譯詞缺少考量原歌曲中的語意、自然度與節奏要素。作者根據修訂過程，整理出可行的現代敬拜詩歌翻譯方法，期望能幫助未來欲翻譯現代詩歌的譯者，並推廣基督教詩歌在臺灣的傳播。

In Christianity, singing to the Lord is an important part of the worship service and helps church members prepare heart for the following preach.The songs that Christians sing have different styles with the times, such as traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs. When participating in the worship services of Christian bilingual churches in Taiwan, the author found that some Chinese translations of the English contemporary worship songs are translated by amateur volunteers and these translations are not easy to sing. To probe into this situation, this study would like to evaluate and make improvements of the Chinese translations of the contemporary Christian worship songs.
Twenty contemporary Christian worship songs with Chinese translations are selected as research data. These selected worship songs are evaluated through Peter Low’s song translation theory, pentathlon approach. Katharina Reiss’ text typology theory and Eugene Nida’s dynamic equivalence are used for revising and making improvements of the Chinese translations of the selected worship songs. The evaluation results show that in the twenty selected worship songs, most of the Chinese translations ignored sense, naturalness and rhythm of the worship songs. According to the revising process, the author allocates several effective translation methods for contemporary Christian worship songs, hoping to give an aid to translators who would like to translate contemporary Christian worship songs and to help the spreading of Christian songs.
