隨著社會的發展和科技的進步，機器人的功能變的多樣化，目前以服務人群的機器人越來越受到人們歡迎。目前掃地機器人還是以居家的小型機器人為主，大型空間清掃仍需要人力完成，然而因為深夜時段勞務缺工日益嚴重，因此研發出大型輔助裝置減緩人力需求。
本研究以小米掃地機器人為研究對象，在小米掃地機器人上加裝延伸輔助裝置，從小米掃地機器人本體的34公分X 34公分清掃面積，透過本文之延伸輔助裝置增加至1.5米X 1.5米清掃面積，有效的增加清掃效率。但因為實驗的方便性，將整體架構縮小成1m X 1m進行實驗概念機，依此來證明感測器延伸的可行性。
實驗結果發現，輔助延伸裝置之判斷邏輯是依附在小米掃地機器人判斷邏輯上，因此對轉向角度的要求較為嚴苛，過多或過少的轉向角度會對小米掃地機器人的路徑造成影響，帶來的結果是小米掃地機器人判斷邏輯上，會因為路線有所落差，導致小米掃地機器人重新規劃路線後，導致延伸輔助裝置產生偏移滑動。
整體實驗探討得知，延伸型輔助裝置可以完全的延伸小米掃地機器人的做動以及感測邏輯，雖然整體運作順利，但還是有改善空間。由於偏移滑動的發生，下一步改善優先考量到動力傳遞的配置以及整體剛性的強度，能有效的改善延伸輔助裝置的偏移滑動現象，讓整體運作路線圖更平滑。

With the development of society and technology, the functions of robots become more diverse. Robots that serve people have become more and more popular these days. Currently, sweeping robots are mainly small and for home. Human power is still needed when it comes to cleaning large places. However, the lack of labor force at graveyard shifts leads people to invent big ancillary device to reduce the needs for human power.
This research is based on Xiaomi sweeping robots. By adding extended ancillary device to sweeping robots, it allows the cleaning area to extend from 34x34 centimeters to 1.5x1.5 meters, which will increase the efficiency of cleaning effectively. For the sake of the conveniency of the whole experiment, we adjusted the size of the concept machine to 1x1 meter to prove the feasibility of extending sensors.
Based on the results, we found out that the judgement of extended ancillary device mainly relies on the Xiaomi sweeping robot itself, therefore, the requirement of rotation angle very rigorous. Rotating too much or less will influence the path of the sweeping robot, which will affect the robot’s logical judgement and change its routes. This will cause deviation and slippage of the extended ancillary device after the Xiaomi sweeping robot rearranges its route.
According to the whole experiment, extended ancillary devices can extend the actuation and the logic of sensing from Xiaomi sweeping robots thoroughly. Although the whole machine can operate smoothly, there are still places for improvement. Due to the deviation and slippage of the ancillary device, the next improvement will focus on power transmission layout and the rigidity of the whole device to improve the deviation and slippage problem and smoothen the operation route.
