This study investigated the wear of the Teflon support ring in the adapter seat of the upper corner device as a function of operating conditions. The wear of the back support ring will cause the connecting block and the connecting rod to be worn and damaged, resulting in oil leakage during the production process, resulting in insufficient positioning accuracy. In this study, the wear and tear changes of the back support ring were discussed and the maintenance period was estimated. The back support ring was replaced and maintained in advance before oil leakage was caused by excessive wear, so that the process could be stabilized. In this roller-to-disk wear test machine was used to carry out a grinding experiment. The back support ring was installed on the roller. Under the condition of running time, find out the friction force and friction coefficient under the setting of each parameter, understand the changing relationship, and evaluate the wear constant with Archard wear theory, and establish the estimated maintenance recommendation, but because the wear of the back support ring will As a result, the adapter cannot operate smoothly. Therefore, this study is used to understand the friction and wear conditions of the O-type Teflon backing ring, which can be used to evaluate the wear amount, which can improve the predicted maintenance period.
