本論文研究台灣不同年齡自殺率的家庭與社會結構因素之分析，以台灣1998到2019年之資料研究，四個依變數分別為15到24歲自殺率、25到44歲自殺率、45到64歲自殺率及65歲以上自殺率，選取的自變數有粗出生率、失業率、男性比率、扶老比、總扶養比、粗離婚率、消費者物價總指數及大學畢業人數共8個自變數。
實證結果顯示總扶養比對於15到24歲自殺率在迴歸分析中有顯著正相關。扶老比對於65歲自殺率有顯著負相關，可能是實際的退休年齡高於65歲，持續的接觸人群，在情緒上較不容易抑鬱。 粗出生率對於15到24歲自殺率、25到44歲自殺率、45到64歲自殺率及65歲以上自殺率在迴歸分析結果中皆呈現顯著負相關。粗離婚率對於15到24歲自殺率呈現顯著正相關，尤其尚無法在社會中獨立，對於親人就會有更多的依賴感。台灣社會中仍屬父系社會，男性比率對於25到44歲自殺率及45到64歲自殺率在迴歸分析結果為顯著正相關，身為家中經濟支柱負有家庭責任。失業率、消費者物價總指數及大學畢業人數在迴歸分析中則無顯著相關。但自殺是綜合眾多因素而執行的行為。因此即使在研究中無顯著相關，但也可能為其中一因素之一。

This paper analyzes the family and social structural factors of suicide rates in different age groups in Taiwan, the data is from 1998 to 2019. The four dependent variables are: suicide rate between 15 and 24 years old, suicide rate between 25 and 44 years old, suicide rate between 45 and 64 years old and suicide rate over 65 years old. The selected 8 independent variables are: crude birth rate, unemployment rate, male ratio, old age dependency ratio, total dependency ratio, crude divorce rate, consumer price index and number of university graduates.
The regression empirical results show that the total dependency ratio is significantly related to the suicide rate between 15 and 24 years old. The old age dependency ratio is significantly negatively correlated with the suicide rate over 65 years old. Retire after 65, people who are in constant contact are less likely to be emotionally depressed. The crude birth rate is significantly negatively correlated with the suicide rate between 15 and 24 years old, the suicide rate between 25 and 44 years old, the suicide rate between 45 and 64 years old, and the suicide rate over 65 years old. The crude divorce rate is significantly positively correlated with the suicide rate between 15 and 24 years old, people of these ages are still unable to be independent in society, and have more dependence on their relatives. Taiwan is still a patrilineal society, and the male ratio is significantly positively correlated with the suicide rate between 25 and 44 years old and the suicide rate between 45 and 64 years old, the breadwinners have the main family responsibilities.
Unemployment rate, consumer price index and the number of university graduates are not significantly correlated with the suicide rates in regression analysis. However, suicide is a behavior caused by many factors, even if there is no significant correlation in the study, it may be one of the reasons.
