In the design phase of facility planning process, several
factors are considered to maintain the efficiency of
production facilities. This study integrated graph theory
and mutiple objectives programming that could produce a good
solution to the facility layout problem. With the maximal
planar graph, the research has developed an heuristic
algorithm that could generate block layouts for the
facilities. Finally, an example is demonstrated to validate
the applicability of the model.
