This research tries to develop a solution approach for work
staff scheduling problems under different days off
policies. First, different lower bounds are proposed for
different days off policies, thus a new branch and bound
approach can be implemented according to that. Secondly, a
heuristic approach is proposed for solving practical
problems with large problem sizes in a time saving manners.
Last , a L.P. approach is proposed and compares with other
methods.
