This research is presented the pros and cons of traditional “Anti-heeling system” using constant frequency motor. And comparing to the anti-heeling system which using for “Variable Frequency” motor. The model of conversion frequency motor is automatic control for the heeling angle of ship to PLC for adjust the revolutions of electric motor and pump output power. It would be reducing the power waste of the motor running under fix revolutions, and starting frequently for clockwise and anti-clockwise of system during cargo loading or unloading. It will revise the single piping and motor of constant frequency system to dual piping and motors of conversion frequency system. According to this research, using the conversion frequency motor can be running under low frequency and low output power condition, making the pump running under low rpm of anti-heeling system. Reducing the frequency of start and stop. And reducing the power waste cause to start the motor. It will to be the energy saving as soon as possible.
