Everyone of us must gave asked ourselves this question:〝What am I looking for?〞Is it the world in front of us, future expectations, broadening ourhorizons and courage, or even we don`t even know what we want. What was youroriginal intention? There will never be a correct answer to this question,because everyone is an independent individual, with different lengths ofradius, all unique, and only oneself knows best.
Lifeis like a fish cruising in the vast ocean. Only by knowing how to avoid badluck can you find the happiest place in your life, and you can also enjoyyourself freely from the deep and shallow waters of advance and retreat.Through my personal life experience that lasted for about 60 years, I usedpainting as my creative content to interpret and project my emotional recordthrough my personal experience of the joys and sorrows, joys and sorrows, upsand downs.
Inaddition to the hands of a craftsman, painting requires a poet`s heart and aphilosopher`s brain so that the content of creation can project one`s emotionson the painting. Therefore, I use Western Jungian psychology and EasternZhuangzi`s philosophical theory. Based on the research and analysis ofliterature related to psychology and philosophy, I interpret my emotional viewsthrough my painting creations, and explore the truth through theabove-mentioned research, so that I am born with Guan Yu-like chivalrous spirithere. Find true spiritual value in the vast field of painting art. Therefore, Iuse “Guan Yu freely”as the origin of the idea, and then through the study ofZhuangzi and Hui Shi's “Look at the fish freely”enlightenment in “The Debate ofHaoliang”, I hope to find the peach blossom source of life through the writingof this thesis.
Inheritingthe process of studying and employment is based on logic, so most of thethinking in painting uses concrete or imagery as the creative technique, andthe connotation of the creative work id used to project my spiritual portrayal,and also connect my inner subconscious and collective The subconscious mindallows me to explore my mysterious spiritual world more.My life is colored, and myvision is also colored. The mind can be at ease when the mind is born, and ifthe mind is gray, there will be countless dream monsters to accompany it andchange the color of the color.
