Today, with the development of science and technology, the application of stamping dies is very common. It is mainly used in processing products with large quantities of parts, thereby improving production efficiency, reducing production costs, and promoting the demand for low product prices and high quality. In this study, A die is taken as an example, which is a continuous punching die in the form of punching and shearing (die forging). According to the design method of A mold: the selection of mold materials and the coating surface treatment technology of mold parts, etc., the purpose is to improve the service life of the stamping mold. According to the actual production process, as the number of punches increases, the wear of the punch edge also increases, that is, the life of the punch decreases, resulting in excessive variation in the size of the produced product and therefore shutdown for maintenance. Using Taguchi method, the problem of A mold maintenance process is defined, and the main factors affecting quality characteristics are systematically classified as punch balancer pressure, use of punching oil, punch grinding amount, etc. Data analysis is carried out according to the appropriate orthogonal table, and the service life of the punch is improved by optimizing the process design.
