ABSTRACT The development of Taiwan's electronics industry hold a place in the world. With the rapid and large-scale expansion of the linear economic model, the resource supply system and the environment are facing tremendous pressure. In recent years, countries around the world have vigorously promoted circular economy to not only reduce environmental damage from economic activities but also improve resource utilization efficiency. As far as the electronic chemical industry is concerned, the upstream and downstream supply chains have complex division of labor, a wide range of products. Can the circular economy create true profits and help companies achieve SDGs? This research adopts qualitative research methods, taking developer recovery and reuse as an example, and deeply analyzes the development of individual companies and the actual effects of promoting circular economy. Initially, by successfully completing the closed loop of developer in the optoelectronic industry, then meet the needs of water saving and waste reduction in semiconductor factories, to build a good circular economy structure, and finally to achieve a multiple comprehensive benefit. On the other hand, focusing on circular economy and CSR, we further conducted in-depth interviews with four internal and external experts, used their own experience to feed back to SDGs, and provided detailed views and answers for this research. Finally, the researcher analyzed the content of the interview and transformed it into specific research results: The long-term practice of electronic chemicals in the circular economy has verified the feasibility of the circular economy. It not only connects the upstream and downstream cooperation mechanisms of the industry, but also enables enterprises to obtain continuous and sustainable development. Stable profits are used to shape a good corporate culture, thereby fulfilling CSR and striding towards SDGs.
