It is difficult for consumers to accept the prices, and it is impossible for manufacturers to reduce costs and selling prices. In recent years, the popularity of outdoor mountaineering and river tracing activities in the world has greatly increased the demand of functional socks at domestic and foreign parts. In the impact of demand and labor cost factors, the production line equipment needs to develop towards the automatic production processes and intelligent mechanization. Using PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and human-machine integrated control equipment for the hosiery waterproof coating production equipment, the remote monitoring technology assists operators to catch the equipment status, tracks the manufacturing progress, improves manufacturing efficiency, and further extends the lifetime of automation equipment. The human-machine interaction interface is used to present output, production capacity, progress, temperature distribution, liquid level, transmission speed, operation cycle, and production utilization rate. Producers do not need to spend additional time and manpower to record and measure data. The interface for graphical programming and visual operation can reduce personnel education costs and achieve the purpose of improving production efficiency.
