由於市場對大尺寸顯示器的需求，投影顯示技術於近年來進步神速。在眾多投影顯示技術中，由德州儀器所發展的數位光源處理式投影系統仗著其小體積、高性能的優勢，迅速的於各種投影技術中脫穎而出。
本論文對於數位光源處理投影系統的光學架構做一實務設計。選定元件規格後，先利用光展量及幾何光學公式計算出照明系統基本的架構，再利用光學軟體(ZEMAX)對照明系統作優化。接著我們選擇適合的投影鏡頭及整體架構，結合照明系統與成像系統完成此設計。　　　　
設計完成後，我們將設計完成的系統建構於光學模擬軟體(ASAP)中，觀察此系統並做最後的調整，最後利用模擬結果分析此系統，作一簡短的結論，並對最新的連續色回收(SCR)系統作介紹。

Because of the demand of large size display, projection display technology is progressing rapidly. The DLP (Digital Light Process) technology, developed by Texas Instrument, relied on its compact size and high performance, stands out of all projection display technologies quickly.
In this thesis, we studied and designed an optical system of the DLP projection system. After determining the specification of components, we utilized e’tendue and geometric optical formula to get the basic structure of the illumination system, and used optical software ZEMAX to optimize it. Later on, we chose a suitable projection lens and system structure for integrating the illumination system and the imaging system to accomplish the whole design.
The simulation of the system founded on the preceding design was done by optical software, ASAP. To improve the system, we observed, analyzed and modified the optical properties of it according to the simulation results. At last, we summarized a brief conclusion, and introduced the latest SCR (Scrolling Color Recapture) technology.
