Health is the source of all kinds of human''s activity. People have more needs for the with health rising of national income and elevation of education attainment. The promotion of pablic health and inauguration of National Health Insurance (NHI) increase a great growth of expenditure for family healthcare and medical.
To plan out the uses of medical resource and move up its efficiency, it''s necessary to study the flows of resource and influence factors of family health care and medical. The Survey of Family Income and Expenditure in Taiwan Area contains various factors of family, such as the characteristics of household head , characteristics in a family, financial characteristics of a household and expenditure of family health care and medical for each house hold. The study was going according to that survey''s data in 1994and 1995. This essay is to study influence factors of the family health care and medical and to study the structural change of these factors after the inauguration of NHI in 1995.
