本研究旨在探討家庭結構與家庭危機事件對青少年心理健康問題和偏差行為的影響，以及背景變項、家庭、學校的中介影響。本研究使用「台灣教育長期追蹤資料庫」（TEPS）2001年之高中、高職、五專學生及與其配對之家長問卷資料，共13,319個隨機樣本。研究發現如下：
一、相對於原生父母家庭，單親家庭、繼（養）家庭、其他家庭類型的青少年心理健康問題較多；單親家庭、繼（養）家庭、隔代教養家庭及其他家庭類型的青少年偏差行為較多。
二、曾經歷父母分居或離婚、父或母重病、父或母有精神疾病、父或母有酗酒習慣、經濟變故等家庭危機事件者，他們的心理健康問題比未經歷該事件者多；曾經歷父母分居或離婚、父或母去世、父或母有精神疾病、父或母有酗酒習慣、經濟變故等家庭危機事件者，他們的偏差行為比未經歷該事件者多。
三、女生的心理健康問題比男生嚴重；男生的偏差行為則比女生多。年齡愈小者，心理健康問題和偏差行為愈少。出生序對青少年心理健康問題沒有顯著影響；排行中間、老么者及獨生子（女）比排行老大者的偏差行為多。
四、相對於父母是開明權威型者，父母是忽視冷漠型和專制權威型的青少年，他們的心理健康問題和偏差行為都較多；父母是寬鬆放任型的青少年，他們的偏差行為較少。家庭月收入對青少年心理健康問題和偏差行為沒有顯著影響，
五、愈覺得學校是快樂的地方者，其心理愈健康；愈覺得學校是無趣的地方、學校不關心學生者，其心理愈不健康，偏差行為愈多；愈覺得校規很嚴者，其偏差行為愈少。不同的同儕類型對青少年心理健康問題和偏差行為有不同的影響。
六、控制背景變項、家庭因素和學校因素後，父或母重病及經濟變故對青少年憂鬱感仍有獨立的影響力；父或母重病、父或母有酗酒習慣及經濟變故對青少年心身症狀仍有獨立的影響力；父母分居或離婚、父或母有精神疾病、經濟變故對青少年偏差行為仍有獨立的影響力。
根據研究結果提出幾項建議：1.父母必須和子女建立良好關係，並適度要求子女的行為。2.對有心理困擾及行為問題的學生，學校輔導及訓導單位須介入並提供協助。3.教育及社會福利部門應根據不同的家庭危機事件設計合適的服務處遇。

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influences of the family structures and crisis events on adolescent mental health problems and deviant behaviors, as well as to explore the intermediary influences of their background, families and schools. Data was collected from the questionnaires filled out by both the senior high school students and their parents (Taiwan Education Panel Survey, TEPS, 2001). There are totally 13,319 random samples discussed in this study. The major findings are listed as follows:
1. The adolescents in the single-parent families, stepfamilies or others have much more mental health problems than those in the original families. The adolescents in the single-parent families, stepfamilies, grandparent families or others have much more deviant behaviors than those in the original families.
2. The adolescents with the following experiences of their parents, such as separation, divorce, physical and mental illness, drinking or even financial problems, have much more mental health problems than others without these experiences. The adolescents with the following experiences of their parents, such as separation, divorce, death, mental illness, drinking or even financial problems, have much more deviant behaviors than others without these experiences.
3. The females have much more mental health problems than the males. However, deviant behaviors happen much more frequently to the males. About the influence of the age, the younger they are, the less mental health problems and deviant behaviors they have. Among different birth orders, there is no significant difference in mental health problems. However, the younger or the only child has much more deviant behaviors than the others.
4. Compared to the authoritative parents, the adolescents who grow under the uninvolved or authoritarian parents have much more mental health problems and deviant behaviors. However, adolescents under the indulgent parents have less deviant behaviors than those under the authoritative parents. There is no significant effect to both mental health problems and deviant behaviors among the adolescents with different income of their families.
5. There are much more mental health problems and deviant behaviors happened in the adolescents who think the school is boring or those under the unconcerned schools. However, the adolescents who think regulations are stringent have less deviant behaviors. Different peers also have different influences for mental health problems and deviant behaviors of the adolescents.
6. After controlling the factors of the background, families and schools, the serious illness of either parent and financial problems of the family still have influence on the adolescents’ depression. Moreover, the above reasons and drinking problem also affect the physical syndrome of the adolescents. The adolescents experienced the separation or divorce of the parents, the mental illness of the parents and financial problems still have deviant behaviors.
In conclusion, several comments are suggested to the parents, schools and the departments of the education or social welfare separately. (1) Parents should not only establish the good relationships with their children, but also request their behavior moderately. (2) For schools, they have to involve and provide the assistance to the students who have mental health problems and deviant behaviors. (3) The education and social welfare departments have to design the appropriate services to the individual family with different crisis events.
