Education is the foundation of national development; moreover, moral education is an indispensable for college students. This study focuses on the proper allocation of educational resources to enhance students'' moral, under confronting the demographic changes, the impact of low birthrate and the resource limitation circumstances.
This study applied moral literature, questionnaire, designed by interviewing teachers and student in Chaoyang University of Technology. Applying Performance Evaluation Matrix (PEM) with control limitation to search for students'' gap between moral cognition and moral behavior, it provides recommendations for improvement in conclusion.
This study applies for 20 questions in questionnaire and there are 10 recommendations for improvement. The priority for improvement is three questions. First, students should come and leave to classroom on time. Second, students should maintain clean on campus (such as picking up trash, cigarette butts, etc.). Thirdly, students should not ride a motorcycle illegal (such as running red lights, reverse driving, speeding, not wearing a helmet, using a mobile phone, etc.). Above these questions should be increased resources investment to enhance student moral performance. The only one review question is students not bringing pets into the classroom. Generally, students’ performance is higher than cognitive in this question. Therefore, it is unnecessary to invest more resources to improve it.
In this paper, improvement and review range questions have been provided some suggestions to improve the program and improvement strategies have been drafted by the Office of Student Affairs. We hope to increase student’s moral performance by reforming the effectiveness and simultaneously enhancing for school’s competitiveness.
