短距離即時動態測量已經符合三、四等衛星控制點測量規範的要求，為了使即時動態測量使用的層面更加廣泛，以增加其經濟效益，因此本文提出中距離即時動態定位。
與短距離即時動態定位不同的是中距離必須考慮電離層與對流層的影響，因此本文將對流層延遲效應予以模式化改正，而電離層則以附加參數的方式彌補模式的不足。並顧及週波未定值彼此之間的相關性，以解相關法在短時間內求解週波未定值。
本文以靜態觀測之資料模擬動態定位，並將動態定位的每一筆成果與靜態觀測基線經後處理計算之成果相比較。所採用的基線觀測資料其距離包含了10-20、20-30、30-40、40-50公里各四條基線，探討在三種不同的收斂標準下，基線距離與解算時間和點位精度的關係，三種收斂標準由緊至鬆分別是0.15、0.20、0.30 cycles。經實驗證明在收斂標準為0.15與0.20 cycles時，基線距離在10-40公里之間可以全部求解出正確的週波未定值，且平面精度和高程精度分別在2cm和3cm以內。但是在0.30 cycle時，基線距離40-50公里則出現一條基線解算錯誤的情形。

The precision of the short-range RTK has proved to meet the requirement of the 3rd and 4rd order control survey. To improve the application scope and efficiency of RTK, this study introduces the medium-range RTK to over-come the constrain in short range.
The medium-range RTK can’t ignore the effects of ionosphere and tropo-sphere. In this study, the modified Hopfield model is used to correct the delay caused by the troposphere. Besides, the ionospheric effects are con-sidered by introducing the adjoint parameters to retrieved the shortage of the model. In order to convert the double-different ambiguity resolutions, a de-correlation method is applied.
This study simulated kinematic positioning with the data from static sur-vey, and compared the results with these postprocessed. We selected 4 base-lines with the ranges of the 10-20 km、20-30 km、30-40 km and 40-50 km to discuss the relation between the distance and resolved time under three diff-erent accuracy criteria of 0.15、0.20 and 0.30 cycles. The results show that the ambiguity can be resolved for the 40-50 km baseline with the criterion of 0.15 and 0.20 cycles where the horizontal and vertical resolution are better than 2 cm and 3 cm, respectively. The results, therefore, confirm the feasibility of the medium-range RTK.
