本研究想探討在台灣的男性與女性，工作滿意度是否會有差異，使用的資料為華人家庭動態資料庫(PSFD)抽取2007、2008、2009、2010 以及2011 年度之問卷資料，以華人家庭成年樣本為對象的固定樣本追蹤調查 (panel)，其總樣本的年齡層從民國24 至民國73 年出生。以最小平方法(OLS-Cluster)、隨機效果
模型(Random Effect Model)及排序性常態機率模型(Ordered Probit Model)做男女合併的工作滿意迴歸分析，接著又討論男女分開時的工作滿意度，使用的模
型是Ordered Probit Model，由實證結果發現，男、女兩性在工作滿意度上確實是有差異的，影響男性工作滿意較重要的變數是薪資，而女性則是工作時間。

The goal of this research is trying to know what difference between male and female in job satisfaction. We use the year of 2007 to 2011 questionare from the database Panel Study of Family Dynamics (PSFD). The main targeted respondents of the PSFD are the adult population in Chinese families, covering different birth cohorts.

Our research discusses if there is a differential of job satisfaction between males and females. First, we utilize three methods to do males and females regression analysis. That is OLS-Cluster, Random Effect Model, and Ordered Probit Model. Second, we apply Ordered Probit Model separately to males and females to investigate gender differential in job satisfaction. Empirical result indicates that there is a gender differential in job satisfaction. The most influential fatcor for men is salary, and for women is working time.
