研究背景:
  學齡青少年的心理健康發展,對於其日後人格發展、學業表現、行為發展及成年後之心理健康有很大的影響,尤其是身心障礙青少年其身心健康問題,後續對家庭、社會、國家所造成的負擔及衝擊很大,不容忽視;相較於對於正常學齡的青少年,身心障礙青少年在學習時面臨更多的問題,對於輔導其心理健康,比起一般的青少年需附出更多的努力,研究也顯示身心障礙者可以透過適當的教育學習增加其心理健康。
研究目的:
  本研究以特殊教育長期追蹤資料庫、台灣教育長期追蹤資料庫的青少年為研究對象,探討一般、身心障礙青少年之心理健康情形分布與變異,並探討、比較身心障礙青少年心理健康情形的相關因子。
研究方法:
  本研究採橫斷性研究設計,以國一、高中在學之身心障礙學生和一般學生為主要之研究對象,探討求學成長歷程中之心理健康狀況、青少年個人變項、家庭相關因素及學校相關因素之相關性。
結果:
  身心障礙青少年與一般青少年不管在國中、高中,其心理健康分布與變異有所不同,而在高中時期,一般青少年心理健康顯著高於身心障礙青少年。在國中、高中青少年心理健康的影響因子不管在基本人口學、家庭相關變項、學校相關變項,均有各自不同面向。身心障礙青少年在學校相關變項有顯著的情形,有不愉快的同學相處情形,其心理健康情形較高(β=3.4),覺得課業困難(β=1.2)也有較高的心理健康情形。一般青少年在個人、家庭、學校相關變項中,均有其相關影響因子。
結論:
  身心障礙與一般青少年對於心理健康影響因子有相同的面向也有不同面向,特別在身心障礙青少年在學校相關變項有較強的相關情形,此結果顯示影響心理健康其個人、家庭環境及學校環境之關係,可做為家庭教養、福利政策介入與特殊教育資源應用參考。




Background
The development of mental health among the adolescents plays an important role on their future personality development, academic achievement, behavioral development and mental health of being adult. In particular, the burden to families, society and the country affect by the problem of mental health among the adolescents with disabilities can’t be ignorable. Compared to adolescents without disabilities, ones with disabilities face more challenge with studying. It takes more patient and efforts that helps them promote mental health. Studies show that people with disabilities can promote their mental health through the appropriate learning lesson.
Objective
The main samples of this studies are from Special Needs Education Longitudinal Study and Taiwan Education Panel Survey. The aim is to understand the distribution and the variance of normal adolescents and adolescents with disabilities. Then find the associated factors for mental health of adolescents with and without disabilities.。
Methods
This is a cross-sectional study conducted at junior and senior high schools. Participants are normal students and students with disabilities in 7 grade, 9 grade and 10 grade. To investigate the state of mental health on adolescents growth process and the relation with demographic, family and school variables.
Results
In junior and senior high schools, there are difference on the distribution and the variance of mental health between normal adolescents and ones with disabilities. Normal adolescents have higher mental health than ones with disabilities in senior high schools. There are great difference between them on mental health related factors, including demographic, family and school variables. Among adolescents with abilities, there are significant associations in school variables. Ones with great peer relationship have higher mental health score((β=3.4). Ones that think schoolwork difficult also have higher mental health score(β=1.2).
Conclusions
The related factors of mental health are similar and also different between adolescents with and without disabilities. The school variables have a great effect on mental health, especially disable adolescents. This results can be a useful reference for family upbringing, welfare policy and special needs education resource.
