Under competitive environment in bicycle industries, the requirements for innovation and quality become more and more high. In order to meet the conditions of innovation and good quality, the technical ability and self-demanding on quality needs to be elevated. The defective rate on stem production is very high in new technical forging manufacturing process. In aspect of production and quality, the potential and external causes should be looked into and found out. We should proceed with improvement and set up related standard.
The purpose of the research is to discuss how to establish Quality Control Circle, QCC. The defect of forging manufacturing process can be improved by implementing QC-Story and QC7 tools and etc… Proposing solution to manufacturing process achieve better yield, then build up related conditions for none-defective product.
The original defective rate 7% decrease to 0.6% by this improvement. This not only lower defective rate, but also increase 3D forging capacity. The countermeasure of the research is established as SOP which can make delivery on time.
