摘要
隨著蒐藏觀念的改變，博物館開始嘗試進行物件以外的蒐藏方式。大約在一九七0年代，不少國外博物館著手進行口述歷史訪談與蒐藏的工作，現在已經累積了相當可觀的蒐藏數量，而國內的文史單位、大學及圖書館等也紛紛受到這股口述歷史研究的潮流影響而跟進。惟國內博物館在這方面尚在起步階段。有鑒於此，本研究即以國內三家博物館為研究對象，試圖了解其口述歷史蒐藏之現況，透過資料分析與訪談，理出國內外博物館口述歷史蒐藏方式，以為國內有興趣進行口述歷史蒐藏的博物館提供一套作業參考模式，並找出現有的問題與解決方式。
口述歷史是一種透過對話方式與錄音錄影設備紀錄下來的個人觀點與記憶。透過計畫性的設計，經過創造、處理、保存管理與利用這四個階段，以專業的規範與步驟來保障所紀錄的證言具有可信度並能為大眾所利用。口述歷史在博物館中有廣泛的用途，包括可以之進行蒐藏紀錄與物件詮釋、集體研究、社區連結與教育資源、展覽以及檔案的建立等。許多博物館也站在保存社會文化的立場來進行口述歷史訪談與蒐藏。從文獻與國外網頁資料發現，蒐藏口述歷史的博物館大多為歷史與人類學類的博物館，其中以地方博物館居多。過去口述歷史在博物館只具有輔助性的價值，而非蒐藏主要的對象。隨著時間演變，現在的博物館大多肯定口述歷史具有蒐藏的價值，它不只可以保存記憶、經驗、技能等無形的文化遺產，也是促進博物館與社區連結的重要媒介。
本研究結果顯示，受訪的國內博物館都肯定口述歷史的價值，並依據館內的需求來進行訪談與蒐藏。但為了實際需求而進行的訪談常無法轉換成為蒐藏的一部分。而在蒐藏工作的執行上，本研究之案例都有改善的空間，包括缺乏長遠的蒐藏規劃、沒有足夠的人力與經費可持續推動訪談與蒐藏工作，以及這方面的蒐藏管理工作並未受到應有的重視等，這些都是本研究案例若要進行口述歷史蒐藏必須解決的問題，同時也須設法擴充蒐藏來源，並應建立一套完整的口述歷史訪談與蒐藏作業程序，才能使館內的工作具有一致性。
一旦博物館將口述歷史視為蒐藏的要項，則須依照口述歷史的專業規範與程序進行蒐藏作業，也須體認自己同時扮演創造、保存與利用口述歷史的三重角色，並須設定口述歷史在博物館內所具備的功能與用途。從時代趨勢觀之，口述歷史的蒐藏日趨重要，國內博物館對此也應加以重視，方有可能將蒐藏範圍從有形文化遺產擴充到無形文化遺產。

Due to change of idea in collecting, many museums of the world start to include non-objects into their collections. Since 1970s, many western museums have been adopting oral history interview, and collecting cassettes, tapes and sound records produced from it. In Taiwan, universities, libraries and academic institutes are also influenced by the trend of oral history studies; however, the collections of oral history in Taiwan museums are still at the stage of beginning. In this study, three museums in Taiwan were chosen to be study samples. There are two main purposes, one is to find out the value and model of oral history collection through data analysis and interviews, the other one is to provide the new ways of collecting and to solve the existing problems.
Oral history is a method of collecting, recording personal memories and opinions through a dialogue between the interviewee and the interviewer. Every interview record becomes useful and credible history resource after taking four steps: creating, processing, curating and using. Each step ensures that oral history record is reliable and accessible to the public.
There are many reasons for museums to get involved with oral history, including collection research, interpretation, education resource, community link and exhibition. In the early time, oral history was a tool for curators to accomplish their works, but not the end in itself. After thirty years, museums began to regard oral history as a valuable history resource, which is worthy to be collected for the purpose of conserving and preserving intangible culture heritage, like memories, experiences and skills.
The results of this research indicate that the staff in the studied museums all recognized the values of oral history, and have designed various oral history projects and collecting plans to meet their needs. But it is hard for them to transfer these interviews which were made for practical purpose from a kind of research resources to a part of museum collection. Furthermore, they all lacked for collecting plans, manpower, funding and well-done collection management to proceed the work of interviews and collecting. The present study suggests that studied museums should start to develop long-term oral history collecting plans, and collection management system, and to acquire oral history interviews more widely.
While museums regard oral history interviews as one of their collecting ways, museum workers should obey the professional standard and steps of oral history. Furthermore museums should recognize the triple roles which they played in creating, conserving and using oral history collections, and what functions and position that oral history supposes to be in the museum. Finally, museums could try to widen their scope of collections form physical objects to intangible cultural heritage.
