"Lion Dance" is a "quasi beast" form of performances, which covers dance, theater, martial arts, acrobatics and music, is a comprehensive performing arts. In the 1980s, Taiwan, lion dance dominated religious carnivals, especially in the mid-1980s, it was the “Da-Jia-Le” lottery craze period, also known as the Lion Dance heyday; however, with the busy industrial society, outflow of rural population, the population is gradually aging, media science and technology developed. There is also a serious decline of folk art scene, the trend is also increasingly popular traditional Lion Dance dissolution. This study is to observe through interviews with different angles, exploring viable business model Lion Dance; Tradition and innovation choice, great era of change worries, as well as for future expectations Lions group, Lions group of innovative development will be beneficial. This paper is an exploratory study, the first of Taiwan's business model as a Lion Dance cut Discussion, in the manner of qualitative research and interviews. "Jinhong Lion Dance", "TianLong Lion Dance", "LianFeng Lion Dance Troupe" and "TingWei Lion Dance Troupe." The four Lion Dance representatives are to be observed, including the the group’s interaction and performances. In the process of data collection, the researchers gradually in a grounded theory coding data were aggregated. After analyzing and summarizing I have finally found three facets, they are the business model, practical difficulties, and innovative strategies. In recommendations to the government and the Lion Dance Groups, This study proposes the following: 1. Calls upon the Government continued to fund grants and long-term support quality team. 2. Continue the Lion Dance as a school physical education curriculum. 3. Regularly organizes demonstrations and Lion Dance skills contest. 4. Lion Dance merit athletes have a better chance of entering a higher school than other athletes. 5. Set up for Lion Dance skill performance center 6. Self-binding recommendations Lion Dance team activities with local characteristics. Initiative to create activities for Lion Dance groups that continues eternally. 7. Continuation of 2002 "lion art research activities" Investigation Report The results of this study can provide the responsible authority in government policy formulation as a reference, and follow-up the researchers to quantify basis.
