牛樟芝（Antrodia cinnamomea；以下以AC總稱）為台灣特有真菌菇類，為原住民常用來消除因酒精引起的不適。本研究目的在於探討以動物體內實驗模型評估牛樟芝固態發酵產物（solid fermented product of Antrodia Cinnamomea；ACSFP）之免疫調節作用。實驗以8 週齡BALB/c ByJNarl雌鼠隨機分為4組，其中包括一組飲食對照組及3組ACSFP 補充組，如低劑量（200 mg/kgBW/day, ACSFP-L）、中劑量（600 mg/kgBW/day, ACSFP-M）和高劑量（1000 mg/kgBW/day, ACSFP-H），實驗小鼠在餵食6週後犧牲。結果顯示高劑量ACSFP 顯著（p < 0.05）減少小鼠體重和脾臟絕對及相對重量，但增加血清TG和TC含量。低劑量ACSFP顯著（p < 0.05）提高血清LDL-C和非特異性抗體IgE的分泌量。在餵食ACSFP中及高劑量之小鼠腹腔細胞培養下，顯著（p < 0.05）增加促發炎細胞激素（TNF-和IL-6）及抗發炎/促發炎細胞激素IL-10 / （IL-1 + TNF- + IL-6）比值。低劑量ACSFP顯著（p < 0.05）下降以Con A刺激脾臟細胞Th1 / Th2細胞激素（IL-2 + IFN-g）/（IL-4 + IL-5）的比值。綜合以上結果，餵食ACSFP中劑量及高劑量可能具有減少發炎反應，低劑量ACSFP可能促使Th1 / Th2免疫反應傾向於Th2端。因此認為使用ACSFP適當劑量可能具有調節不同免疫疾病的好處。

Antrodia cinnamomea（AC）is a rare fungus mushroom in Taiwan, it is aborigines used to eliminate alcohol-induced discomfort. This study was to evaluate the immunomodulation of product from solid fermentation culture in Antrodia cinnamomea（ACSFP）using an in vivo murine model. Female BALB/c ByJNarl mice（8 weeks old）were divided into four groups, including one dietary control group and three ACSFP supplement groups such as low dose（200mg/kgBW/day, ACSFP-L）, medium dose（600mg/kgBW/day, ACSFP-M）and high dose（1000mg/kgBW/day, ACSFP-H）group. Experimental mice were sacrificed after tube feeding for six weeks. The results showed that high dose ACSFP supplementation was significantly（p < 0.05）decreased the body weights of mice and their spleen absolute（relative）weights, but increased the serum TG and TC levels. The low doses ACSFP supplementation significantly（p < 0.05）improved serum LDL-C and non-specific antibody IgE level. The levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines（TNF- and IL-6）and ratios of anti-/pro-inflammatory cytokines, IL-10 /（IL-1 + TNF- + IL-6）, were significantly（p < 0.05）increased in the peritoneal cell cultures from mice fed with medium and high dose ACSFP. Low dose ACSFP supplementation markedly（p < 0.05）decreased the ratios of Th1 / Th2 cytokines,（IL-2 + IFN-）/（IL-4 + IL-5）,in the Con A-stimulated splenocyte cultures. Over all, it is suggested that administration with medium and high doses ACSFP may have the potential to attenuate inflammatory response. Low dose ACSFP supplementation might prompt the Th1 / Th2 immune balance to Th2 pole. It is suggested the ACSFP may have benefits in different immune disease by using an appropriate dose.
