The documentary “All About Bullshit” is a collection of footages that I filmed in the span of 7 years. The changes over these years are dramatic. From learning, growing, filming, self-realizing, to more learning, more growing, more filming, more self- realizing, this cycle replayed over and over for 7 years of my life. When I first started making this film, I believed that documentaries should emphasize and capture the ‘truth’ of things. However, soon I began to notice the metamorphosis in my subjects: they began to sculpt their own ‘truth’ and fictionalize their stories. In this journey of documentary filmmaking, I realized that the longer I am on this path, the more the line between “reality” and “fiction” seem to blur.
