因許多實際上的現象是由某程度的慣例所控制的，所以慣例是普遍存在的。因此，我的研究目的是從哲學觀點去探討慣例的本質，但我並沒有任何去挑戰或重寫它的野心。從其他的方法中，一個以媒介為基礎的的模型加上階乘實驗設計去用來觀察簡單的交通慣例於媒介(駕駛)在道路的指示(順時針/逆時針)下所會選擇會聚合的點。這項研究成果顯示響應級(碰撞數) 顯著地被要素的程度 (車的總量) 所影響，此關係決定了完整資訊下狀態下所出現的慣例秩序。

As many phenomena in reality are governed by conventions to some extent, these conventions can be considered universal. Thus, this study sought to explore the nature of existing conventions from a philosophical viewpoint. An agent-based model with a factorial experimental design was built to observe simple traffic conventions among agents (drivers) with regards to the direction (clockwise/counterclockwise) in which they choose to converge on. The findings show that the response level (number of collisions) was significantly affected by the level of factor (number of cars in total), that relation determined the order of convention to emerge under the condition of complete information.
