臺灣博碩士論文加值系統

本研究係以國內公私立大學圖書館為對象，以問卷調查的方式，瞭解國內大學圖書館編目工作現況與發展、所面臨的問題及編目館員應具備的知識與技能，以期提供各大學圖書館業務發展，及圖書資訊學相關系所編目課程設計之參考。
經研究分析與整理，獲得以下之結論：一、近五年大學圖書館各館編目館員人數，國立大學減少，私立大學及技術學院增加。二、大學圖書館編目組織作業名稱多為「採編組」；進行編目作業組織重整者多為國立大學圖書館，方式多為「採編合一」。三、編目委外作業在私立技術學院已成為一種趨勢；未委外的原因，私立技術學院圖書館多因「經費不足」，公私立大學圖書館則較考慮「品質不佳」的問題；而編目委外作業對編目館員所產生的影響主要為「減少工作量」及「轉從事其他圖書館工作」。四、各大學圖書館對電子資源編目的比例很低，但對參與網路資源合作編目計畫的意願很高。五、對於待編資料眾多的問題，私立技術學院圖書館多「採用委外作業」解決，公私立大學圖書館多以「重整工作流程」解決。六、國內大學圖書館編目館員大多尋求「相關系所老師之協助」以解決語文能力或學科背景不足的問題。七、編目工作所面臨的問題包括：資料類型的多元化、在職訓練不足、同時從事其他圖書館工作所面臨的壓力、工作倦怠感、簡編v.s.詳編、主管或讀者對編目工作的不瞭解。八、對國內未來編目組走向，各大學圖書館意見不盡相同。九、國內大學圖書館採行在家上班制度仍待規畫與協調。十、國內大學圖書館編目館員角色未有較大的轉變。十一、工讀生的大量僱用。十二、綜合編目館員及編目教師之意見，大學圖書館編目館員應具備之二十一項核心編目知識與技能較強調傳統編編目能力，依其排名包括：中國編目規則、中國機讀編目格式、中國圖書分類法、MARC21、AACR2、LCC、DDC、權威控制、中文圖書標題表、編目工具及參考資源、線上公用目錄、分類理論與方法、書目中心、主題分析理論與方法、LCSH、分編最新發展與應用、資訊組織理論、檢索技巧、控制詞彙、國內外之相關編目標準、資訊尋求行為；而編目教師與編目館員意見差異最大者為「資訊尋求行為」、「中文圖書標題表」、「控制詞彙」及「索引理論與方法」。
最後提出七項建議：一、新改制之大學圖書館應重視專業人員的編制。二、加強在職訓練。三、推動中文網路資源合作編目計畫。四、實施工作輪調制度。五、了解讀者使用館藏目錄行為。
