批踢踢實業坊 (Ptt.cc)的 Womentalk板為女性抒發情感或尋求各式問題的文章為主。其探討的主題非常廣泛，這些文章所呈現的深度與廣度吸引不同的參與者共同討論，在Womentalk板透過發表文章與推文的回應即能產生多人的互動，當感受到他人或團體從回應中給予有形或無形的幫助，都可稱之為社會支持。而作者從選擇發表文章開始，至發佈文章的過程，即代表尋求社會支持的行為，而多數的參與者在尋求資訊與解答的過程中因和他人產生互動進而建立社群關係。依據Womentalk板之參與者的互動資料探究不同的社會支持情況，首先瞭解板上的文章有何特性？而各種文章類別之社會支持是否有所差異？參與者是否擁有不同的社會網絡族群？
本研究蒐集一個月內在 Womentalk 板上的互動資料，根據蒐集的資料可得出描述性統計的結果。並依文章內文與推文兩個部分來進行內容分析的評分，判定資訊支持之類別為「問題」與「討論」，而陪伴支持的類別為「女孩」、「灑花」，情感支持的類別則為「難過」、「心情」、「感覺」。再利用社會網絡分析(social network analysis)概念與方法來探討使用者間互動關係的結構特性。
