本論文研製之目的在於探討我國婦女子宮肌瘤治療型態及醫療利用情形，並以國家衛生研究院「全民健康保險資料庫」1997抽樣年為研究資料，以SPSS統計軟體針對子宮肌瘤醫療利用情形進行分析。
　　本研究結果顯示國內子宮肌瘤患者醫療利用情形為：住院平均醫療費用為41,429.4元，住院平均天數為4.69日，手術費用佔總住院醫療費用的47.6%，住院藥費佔總住院醫療費用的2.5%。門診平均醫療費用為924.69元，門診平均給藥天數為4.76日，門診藥費佔門診醫療費用的8.03%。住院醫療利用情形：治療型態以選擇子宮鏡手術為最多，病人年齡方面以41~50歲的患者為最多數，醫院特性則是選擇醫學中心治療為最多。門診醫療利用情形為：病人年齡以41~50歲為最多，醫院特性則是選擇基層院所為最多。

The goal of this research is to probe into the treatment patterns and the utilization of health care on the domestic women with uterine myoma. The samples from National Health Insurance Research Database of uterine myoma in 2007 .
The result in this study shows an average of health care spending on the uterine myoma patients respectively on the aspects of that the treatment in hospital would take an average of NT$41,429.4 as the total charge, the period of hospitalization was 4.69 days in average, the medicine expenses were about 2.5% of the total charge, and the operation expenses were about 47.6% of the total charge. The results also reveal the expenses of outpatient services of NT$924.69 in average. Amongst this the duration of medication supply was 4.76 days in average, and the medicine expenses were 8.03% of the total charge. Furthermore, it was found in this research that the patterns of hospitalizing therapy in uterine myoma were done mostly by uteroscope procedures, the patients were aged between 41 to 50 years old, and the medical centers were chosen as the treatment site by most of the patients. The age of the patients of outpatient services also were mostly of 41~50 years old. And the fundamental clinics were the typical outpatient services providers, which were chosen by most of the patients.
